To be eligible for a Ford Fleet Identification Number (FIN), you must have purchased and registered or leased 5 or more new vehicles (any make or model) during the current or preceding calendar year, model year or preceding twelve month period OR currently operate a fleet of 15 or more vehicles (owned or leased).
If you are Government, you must have purchased and registered or leased 1 new vehicle (any make or model) during the current or preceding calendar year or model year OR currently operate a fleet of 3 or more vehicles (owned or leased)
If you are Livery, you must provide the following documentation:
A For-Hire permit, or a Livery License.
How to Request a Ford Fleet Identification Number (FIN )
Step 1: Call the Ford Fleet Customer Information Center (FCIC) at 1-800-34-FLEET (1-800-343-5338) or register online.
Step 2: When your documentation has been received and verified by the FCIC, your FIN Code will be activated. Please note: you may be asked to provide proof of ownership of the vehicles in your fleet. If so, please fax your proof of ownership to (313) 390-4829.
Acceptable records to activate your Ford FIN Code are:
current vehicle registrations
insurance schedules
lease agreements
billing statements from a leasing company
Step 3: When verification is complete and finalized, you will receive a Ford Fleet welcome packet through the mail, with your FIN code, an access code for web registration and a list of incentives for the year.
